Why Do Agencies Love Working with Razorcopy for SEO Blogging?
We understand the capabilities of AI – and the limitations. ChatGPT revolutionized blogging, but it can’t replace the “X” factor in quality content. We use it to help with general information so we can focus more on adding real human perspectives – the element that makes content great.
We manage every aspect of SEO blogging in-house. Razorcopy provides full-service blogging support to agencies – from topic ideation, keyword research, and calendar planning to writing and optimization. You can be entirely hands-off while you collect a retainer.
Our pricing is crystal clear. We’ve tried per-word and hourly pricing – and it always leads to problems. We like to keep billing simple. You pay a flat, agreed-upon rate for content, period.
We’re super responsive. Whether it’s an email or a ping on Slack or Skype, we communicate like we’re part of your in-house team.

Frequently Asked Questions>
-
Does SEO help blogging?
Absolutely! SEO and blogging are like peanut butter & jelly, fries & ketchup, ice cream & caramel, etc., etc. Google ranks content by how credible it views the website. When you consistently publish high-level content that a) provides value to readers, and b) is optimized for search engines, you’re showing Google that you’re an expert in your field – and deserve to get your business website placed on relevant Google searches.
-
Do you use AI writing tools?
Yes, to a degree. Nearly all content writing agencies these days use AI writing tools to a certain extent. At Razorcopy, we use the latest version of ChatGPT to help us create blog outlines and general information. This leaves us more time to focus on what makes a piece of content great – the human element.
-
What SEO tools do you use?
We use Ahrefs for keyword research and Surfer SEO to optimize the content before submission. In addition to optimization, we have created an E-E-A-T grading prompt in Google Gemini to make sure each piece of content showcases your client’s knowledge in the most impactful way.
-
Are the Razor writers US-based, native English speakers?
Yes! Razorcopy’s writing team is based in San Diego, CA. Our writers hold bachelor’s degrees in journalism, English, marketing, and more.
-
What parts of a blog do you write with AI versus a human writer?
We use AI to help us write general information – like definitions, basic concepts, surface-level knowledge, and anything else a Google search can find.
Our human writers focus on the elements that robots cannot emulate. This includes genuine opinions, hot takes, brand voice, experiences, examples to put concepts in perspective, and everything else that makes content “human”.
-
What is your typical turnaround time for a blog post?
This depends on our current bandwidth – and our writers don’t have much downtime. We generally aim to complete blog posts in no more than 1 week. We will provide a tentative timeline for deliverables at the beginning of the project.
-
How will I assign tasks to Razorcopy’s writing team?
As a white-label content writing agency, we’ve worked with all kinds of project management tools. These include (but are not limited to) ClickUp, Trello, Basecamp, Asana, Teamwork, Monday.com, and so on. We are also on Slack and Skype for instant messaging. If you’ve got a preferred PM tool, let us know and we’ll make it work.
-
How long are your blog posts?
Generally, our blog posts are 1000+ words. We believe great content should not be restricted to a word count. Our mission in each assignment is to create the best piece on the topic – regardless of how many words it takes.
-
Do I get to choose the topics?
Yes and no. You are welcome to suggest topics for us to write – but not every idea may be suited for a piece of SEO content. If a post is super niche or technical, it might require a more from-scratch approach, which will incur a higher cost.
We will provide a content calendar based on keyword research. You and your client may approve or deny topics within the content calendar.
-
How many revisions are included?
Each blog post gets two free revision requests. If these revisions call for large overhauls that contradicts previous requests, these revisions will be done at an hourly rate of $75/hour.
If a piece needs more than two revisions, we may need to re-evaluate the project brief.
