Hello! I’m Kevin. I’m the original member of the Razorcopy team and have been writing professionally since 2015. With a strong background in journalism, the jump to marketing was a natural progression.
My marketing career stemmed from humble beginnings as a freelancer, ghostwriting blog posts for $20/pop.
After seeing the results of my work, I knew it was time to raise the bar and dive into agency life.
My mentality in writing is there are no shortcuts in excellent quality – and there never will be. This is a psyche I’ve worked to engrain in the DNA of Razorcopy.
Overseeing the writing output at Razorcopy is a multilayered task. In addition to maintaining the quality standard, my job involves researching, testing, and analyzing the latest writing practices. If there’s one lesson in digital marketing, it’s that you can never get too comfortable with a tactic – because everything can change at the click of a button.
When we partner with an agency, marketing team, small business, or entrepreneur, our goal is to feel like their in-house content department. That means they never have to second guess our ability to do what’s best for them.
Outside of business hours, you can find me surfing, rock climbing, boxing, whiskey tasting, or kicking back with my wife and dog. In addition to Razorcopy, I operate Impulsive Wanderlust, a travel recommendations blog. I’m also a Co-Founder of PitchKit, a local camping gear rental company.

Riley Swanson

Aloha, ya’ll! My name is Riley Swanson. I’ve been writing professionally since 2017. My roots lie deep in the heart of Texas, but my current home base is on the island of Maui, Hawai’i.
I like to call myself a bit of a Jill of all trades, with experience writing and researching across a range of niche topics. Throw a subject at me and I’ll do serious homework to find creative new ideas for it. Blog articles, web copy, and social media posts are my bread and butter.
I’ve always loved words. Even when I was young, I had my nose stuck in a book most of the time. As an adult, I’ve leveraged that passion by learning to write clever, high-quality digital content. I’ve also had the opportunity to guide other writers and fine-tune my editorial skills.
Every day, I work with agencies and brands to plan blog posts, spruce up website copy, and create powerful content assets from scratch. I draw on my bachelor’s degrees in English and Psychology, as well as my experience with SEO and marketing. My goal is to create content that packs a punch, but that’s also well-researched and professional.
When I’m not at my computer, I’m enjoying fantasy or romance novels. If that’s not the case, you’ll probably find me playing with my dog Milo, kayaking with whales, or hiking around my island with my husband. I am an avid traveler and always up for a new adventure.

My name is Allie Morgan and I’ve been writing with the Razorcopy team since 2021. I enjoy broadening my understanding of new topics and helping companies spread their message through great content.
I graduated from San Diego State University in 2019 with a bachelor’s degree in Marketing. While in school, I was the vice president of communications for the American Marketing Association’s San Diego Chapter, which helped expand my writing skills and business acumen.
Having lived in five different states, I love exploring new places and learning about other cultures. One of my most exciting experiences was living in Australia for a semester during college. This helped me understand how to best communicate with individuals from all walks of life.
When I am not writing or traveling, you can catch me at Coronado dog beach with my German shepherd mix, Starsky. I also enjoy playing tennis, reading, and spending time with my family.

Having a keen interest in Google’s Ranking Factors, I’m always working on fresh content strategies backed by strong SEO fundamentals to draw extraordinary results.
The one thing I love about being a part of the Razor Team is we all are driven by one goal – to connect clients with their true audience.
I’m more of a multi-tasker, which has helped me learn and gain expertise in On-Site SEO, Detailed Website Audits, SEO & Content Strategy Implementation, Long-Form Guides, and Link Building. I also worked in Business Development for 4+ years earlier in my career that enhanced my understanding of technical aspects and limitations of development platforms. It contributes greatly when it comes to implementing SEO & Content Strategies that converts.
When not working, I like to stay away from technology and enjoy any outdoor sport that keeps me active. I never miss an opportunity to hit the road every now and then to visit places I haven’t been before. If not that, you can always find me binge reading books.
